She tries to be as realistic as possible, judging her animals by their looks, and she hopes to one day show her pigs at the fairgrounds.

Where Will the Parade Go? New Mexico State Fair Poultry Show

The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair will open to the public on Wednesday in Deming Industrial Park. The public can purchase a day pass for $10, which includes unlimited rides. Entries are also accepted for art, 4-H, and livestock. The fair’s Midway Carnival opens at 4 p.m. on Wednesday and continues through the day on Thursday. On Wednesday, the livestock and pig show will take place, followed by a poultry show at 5 p.m. The fair continues with lamb and goat shows on Thursday.
